Welcome Jake Rooney

Shelter Works Welcomes Jake Rooney to the Team! 

Shelter Works is pleased to announce the addition of Jake Rooney to our Sales and Estimating team. As a Sales Estimator, Jake will play a vital role in estimating and inside sales, helping Shelter Works to deliver custom fiberglass shelters tailored to our customers' needs. 

Jake recently graduated from the University of Missouri–Columbia with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He joins us with a strong technical foundation and a passion for problem-solving. 

Jake quickly discovered the complexities of manufacturing custom-engineered fiberglass enclosures, noting, “Every shelter is unique, so there’s always something new to learn.” Despite the challenges, he’s already enjoying the collaborative and relaxed work environment, saying, “My coworkers are great, and the atmosphere is positive.”

- Weirdest job: None too unusual—he’s held roles in fast food and retail. 

- Favorite meal: Fried chicken with mashed potatoes.
