Unique Door Hardware

Hi, this is Tracy Switzer, president of Shelter Works. Today, I’m going to answer the question, “What if I need unique door hardware?”

Normally, we use either a three-point latching system (which has the rods), or a panic type exit device which has the push-bar action. In this case, the client needed  custom hardware that had access either by key or by keypad. So, you can imagine not wanting to give out a lot of keys, or not even wanting to keep track of that many keys, but if somebody needed to get in this building in an emergency and did not hold a key, you could just give them a key code, and they can punch it in and open the door.

This is just another way in which Shelter Works offers to customize your buildings just for you. Remember, if it was built by Shelter Works, it was built for life.
